This pre-recorded presentation addressed
ethical dilemmas situations where social workers are confronted by
two or more conflicting obligations, which independently would be
equally upheld. In an ethical dilemma, acting on one value or
duty automatically violates the other one. Ethical dilemmas

applicable regulations. Some areas of competing values may
include confidentiality, self-determination, dual-relationships,
conflict of interest and best interest of clients. High
standards of practice and avoidance of complaints and law suits
requires social workers to be able to identify and successfully
resolve ethical dilemmas. In this pre-recorded workshop

3. Steps to resolves ethical dilemmas
4. Template for rank ordering duties
